What a find in Tiznit. Beautiful and serene setting perfectly manicured. Room had all that one would need, especially enjoyed having a kettle for a morning coffee. I do wish we had more time to stay and enjoy the hospitality and room. Breakfast will keep you full till dinner!

The riad is located just inside the Medina of Tiznit, so was very easy to find which was good. The entire riad is beautifully appointed, every detail was thought of. Rooms very clean, perhaps the most comfortable bed so far in Morocco. The owners were super helpful, accommodating and friendly. Breakfast every day was delicious and great selection. Originally was only supposed to stay 1 night but this Riad was so good, that we stayed 3 nights and travelled to various areas like Tafraoute, Aglou, Mirleft and Sidi Ifni, then returned to Tiznit.
Highly recommend Riad Janoub as a base for visiting the southern region.

Beautiful RIAD in the heart of Tiznit. But Calm and Relaxing. The hotel is amazing for Morocco or any country for that matter. And the management / staff was fantastic. Treated like VIP’s and every detail was attended to. Great location for seeing the area. Very knowledgeable about the region with tours or solo advice. We were on motorcycles and we had a secure place to park them. Laundry services were available. And breakfast? Wow. Amazing food and service. After other disappointing hotels, this was a fantastic place to stay. We even extended our plans to stay longer. I can’t imagine a better place to stay. Feel free to contact me for more info.

I visited the hotel Riad Janoub from 06.-09.11.2019 with a German group. The hotel is an oasis of excellence. The architecture is wonderful, the rooms are clean and comfortable and the service is individual and amazing. The owner of the hotel is extremely kind and organised for us excursions into the old city of Tiznit. Since he (Aby) speaks German, Dutch, English and other languages perfectly he gave us an extraordinary good impression and information about the people and history of his home city. The combination of hospitality and superior comfort was for me and all members of our group an unforgettable experience. When you come to Marocco you must see the medina of Tiznit and when you are in Tiznit you must visit Riad Janoub!

Staff is so welcoming, breakfast is excellent and the architecture of the building is so beautiful to see, especially at night with all the lights they turn on ;).

All the advice re sightseeing that you could want; very helpful recommendations about where to visit and best place to rent a car. Efficient and well priced transfers from airport. A true haven of peace in the middle of the medina of Tiznit! This hotel with Moroccan decoration is simply magical. Every detail of the decor, from the mosaics to the eastern lanterns, carries in a magical and exotic setting. The warm colors, bright spaces and plants add an unmatched touch of serenity. Ideal to relax while enjoying an authentic and warm atmosphere. A place not to be missed for a memorable experience!

We enjoyed a fantastic five day stay at Riad Janoub as part of our six week road trip in Morocco. During our time here, we had the best evening meal, the best breakfast (the homemade yoghurt was delicious) and the best café au lait in the whole of our trip. We also enjoyed the most comfortable bed out of all our accommodation stays. Riad Janoub is a lovely oasis of calm on the edge of the medina and is well located for interesting walks into town and/or an easy 20-minute drive out to the coast. The staff are fantastic, and the owner, Aby, is very friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable about the area. 

We stayed here for a whole week because it was by far the best accommodation in the whole area and offers good opportunities for exploring the area, whether by bike, motorbike or car. The staff is well trained, friendly, attentive and the Belgian owner is very friendly and speaks perfect English, Arabic, Spanish, French and German. The staff also good English. Super clean, comfortable rooms, daily room service. Food also very good. The whole area including garden and pool is very well maintained and is clearly different from other Riad’s similar price range. Gladly again.
