Riad Janoub is a cosy 7 bedroom Guesthouse set within the old walls of Tiznit, known as the Silver City, in the South of Morocco. It’s a haven of secret corners to hide away in. A small, luxury Riad offering you a Royal Breakfast as part of your stay with an option for lunch and dinner – we can give you that personal welcome and homely feel unlike a hotel. At Riad Janoub you are our guest and we look forward to showering you with the best hospitality that we can offer.
The build was inspired by traditional Andalusian and Moroccan style architecture. Riad Janoub invites you to take a step back in time yet still being able to enjoy the modern comforts and feel the grandeur and charm of this original style of accommodation – a charming and luxurious Riad in the south of Morocco.
We, Priya & Aby, welcome you to our home, Riad Janoub. We look forward to making your stay as comfortable and memorable as possible. With backgrounds and experience from the hospitality and service industries and the dream to own our very own Riad we do what we do with passion. Language is not a problem – between us we speak Moroccan, Tachelhit, English, Dutch, French, Spanish, German and Hindi. We open our doors to you.
“We spent two delightful nights at this luxurious riad. A magical courtyard and a good sized swimming pool – a welcome afternoon retreat after wandering the town and souk in the morning. For star gazing, wander up to the rooftop terrace.” A special bonus was the evening meal they offer. By far the best food in Tiznit.” – London, UK – March 2015
“Once you are here you won’t want to leave. We stayed here 6 nights and each day was a joy. The pool area was spotless and beautifully maintained with a lovely cactus garden, comfortable sun loungers and lovely tables and relaxation areas. Inside the rooms are comfortable, spotless and really thoughtfully organised. Our breakfast was gorgeous and slightly different each morning. Really fresh and delicious every day. We ate in the riad three evenings and it was beautifully presented and delicious. Do yourself a favour and stay here. You will not be disappointed.” Sheffield, UK – September 2014
“This is a beautiful little riad within the walls of the old city, but very close to a gate and not difficult to find. There is parking outside on the street. The rooms, built around the central pool, are comfortable and attractively furnished. The highlight for us was the standard of the cuisine, which was excellent. Dinners were creative, beautifully cooked and as beautifully presented. We enjoyed everything we ate, which was different each night. Breakfasts were varied and always included fruit, which was lovely. Riad Janoub is an excellent place to make your base.” Sue F. Hereford, UK – May 2015
“The riad has a very beautiful garden with a pool as well as two terraces where you can simply relax after a long day in the surroundings of Tiznit. The rooms are spacious and beautifully decorated in berber style. We had dinner in the riad – and it was really delicious! The staff are very nice.” Ellen, Germany – 2015
“Beautifully appointed large rooms , cool and airy with luxurious feel. Large clean rooms with excellent pool and sitting/relaxing areas. The owners have thought of everything here and have created a beautiful stylish and spacious oasis in the heart of the city. The breakfast was one of the best we had in Morocco, if not the best. The pool is large with plenty of space to lounge around and quality sunbeds. You get what you pay for, would highly recommend.” Otto, UK – March 2015
